Understanding Yosi™
What is Yosi™?
Yosi™ is Intelligent Audit’s conversational AI analyst. It helps you explore your transportation data, understand what is changing, and find the information you need by asking questions in everyday language. Yosi brings your data, Intelligent Audit’s technology, and decades of logistics expertise into one conversation.
What can I ask Yosi?
Start with the question you need answered: “Why did my shipping costs increase?” “How much did we spend by carrier?” or “Which services contributed most to the change?” Yosi helps you explore the answer through relevant analysis, charts, and follow-up questions.
Do I need to know how to build reports or write prompts?
No. You can ask Yosi in your own words without knowing the platform’s report names, filters, or technical terminology. Built-in prompts also provide starting points when you know what you want to accomplish but are unsure how to begin.
Can I ask follow-up questions?
Yes. You can continue exploring an answer within the conversation. Ask about a cost increase, narrow the analysis to a carrier or service, and request a chart. Each follow-up helps you move from a broad question to the detail you need.
Can Yosi create charts and help me find reports?
Yes. Yosi can present relevant charts and guide you to the report view that supports your question, with the relevant filters already applied. This makes it easier to move from an answer to the underlying analysis.
Do I have to leave Yosi to explore an answer?
No. You can keep asking questions and digging into the answer inside Yosi. If you prefer to explore through a report, Yosi can take you directly to the relevant view, prepared with the filters you need.
Where does Yosi get its answers?
Yosi uses your transportation data within Intelligent Audit’s platform, supported by contextual logistics expertise. Its purpose is to help you understand your operation using the information already connected to the platform.
Who is Yosi designed for?
Yosi supports people who need answers from transportation data, including logistics, transportation, and finance teams. It makes analysis more accessible to users who understand the business question but may not know which report or filters will answer it.
Everyday challenges
How can I find out why my transportation costs increased?
Use Yosi to investigate the change by carrier, service, and charge type. Start with “Why did transportation spend increase this month?” Then ask follow-up questions to identify where the increase is concentrated and which areas need closer review.
How can I analyze transportation spend without manually building a report?
Ask Yosi what you want to understand, such as “Compare spend by carrier this month and last month.” Yosi helps you reach the relevant analysis through a conversation, reducing the work of locating reports and selecting filters yourself. And if needed, you can ask Yosi to build you a report or take you directly to the right report within the platform. You can export as needed.
How can I investigate rising accessorial charges?
Ask Yosi where accessorial charges are increasing and explore the results by carrier, service, or charge type. That analysis provides a starting point for investigating whether the change reflects shipping activity, additional fees, or an operational issue.
Can AI help me find an invoice or check its payment status?
Yes. Yosi can help users locate invoices and check their status within Intelligent Audit. This gives transportation and finance teams a conversational way to investigate invoice questions without first navigating to the right report.
Can Yosi help when two reports show different numbers?
Yosi can help investigate differences between report views. Reconciling totals starts with understanding what each view includes, such as its dates, filters, and measures. Yosi supports that investigation so users can understand the discrepancy before drawing conclusions.
Can Yosi help troubleshoot GL coding issues?
Yes. Yosi can help users investigate general ledger coding issues within Intelligent Audit. It gives teams a starting point for understanding the issue and determining what needs further attention.
Can Yosi help reduce transportation costs?
Yosi can help teams investigate cost changes and identify areas that deserve attention. Savings depend on what the analysis reveals and the actions the business takes. Its value is helping users reach the information needed to evaluate those decisions.
AI in logistics
What is conversational AI in logistics?
Conversational AI lets people interact with logistics data through everyday questions. Instead of starting with a report or a database query, users start with what they need to know. Yosi applies that approach to transportation intelligence within Intelligent Audit.
What is the difference between a general-purpose AI chatbot and Yosi?
A general-purpose AI chatbot can help explain concepts or draft content. Answering questions about your transportation operation requires access to your business data and an understanding of its context. Yosi brings a conversational experience to the data and intelligence within Intelligent Audit.
Why does data quality matter for AI in logistics?
AI analysis depends on the information behind it. Inconsistent carrier names, charge categories, dates, or units can distort comparisons. Connected, normalized transportation data provides a stronger foundation for understanding costs and performance. A conversational interface makes that foundation easier to use.
Why does logistics expertise matter when using AI?
Transportation data needs operational context. A higher charge may reflect a different service, shipment profile, contract provision, or billing issue. Logistics expertise helps teams interpret the result, investigate the right questions, and decide what action makes sense.
Does AI replace transportation analysts and logistics experts?
AI can reduce the time spent finding information and preparing analysis. People still bring business priorities, operational judgment, and responsibility for decisions. Yosi helps make transportation intelligence more accessible so experts can spend more time investigating findings and acting on them.
Can AI automatically fix poor-quality logistics data?
AI can help identify inconsistencies and support data preparation, but it does not eliminate the need for clear definitions and validation. Reliable analysis still requires teams to understand what the data represents and how it should be compared.
How should a transportation team start using AI?
Start with a specific question and a measurable outcome. For example, investigate a recurring cost increase or reduce the time needed to answer an invoice question. Use relevant data, have knowledgeable people review the results, and expand as the approach proves useful.
How do you measure the value of an AI logistics tool?
Measure the work it improves. Useful indicators include time to answer a question, time spent preparing reports, accuracy of analysis, user adoption, and operational outcomes. For Yosi, a practical starting point is whether teams can reach and understand transportation information faster.
How is Yosi different from DeepDetectAI™?
Yosi helps users ask questions and explore transportation intelligence through conversation. DeepDetectAI focuses on identifying unusual patterns, anomalies, and emerging risks in transportation data. They support complementary needs: investigating what you want to understand and surfacing issues that deserve attention.
Access and capabilities
Is Yosi included in my Intelligent Audit subscription?
Yes. Yosi is included in your Intelligent Audit subscription. It brings a conversational way to explore the transportation data already available within the platform, helping you find answers, understand changes, and reach relevant reporting through questions in everyday language.
What data can Yosi access, and how do user permissions apply?
Yosi can access the Intelligent Audit customer data available through existing reporting. Your current user permissions determine what you can see through Yosi, just as they do elsewhere in the platform. Using Yosi does not expand your access to information outside your existing permission set.
Is customer data used to train AI models?
No. Customer data is not used to train AI models. Yosi uses your transportation data to answer questions about your operation, but that information is not used as training material for AI models.
How current is the data Yosi uses?
Yosi uses Intelligent Audit’s cached reporting data, which syncs daily at 6:00 a.m. EST. Its answers reflect the data available from the latest sync. Updates made after that sync will be reflected once the next daily sync occurs.
What happens when Yosi cannot answer a question?
When Yosi cannot answer a question, it should tell you that it cannot provide an answer. You can submit feedback about the response to help the team understand where Yosi needs improvement. You can also try rephrasing your question or adding details about what you want to investigate.
Can Yosi perform actions beyond retrieving and analyzing existing data?
Not yet. Yosi currently helps you retrieve and explore existing data through conversational answers, charts, and relevant report views. It does not make changes to records or carry out operational actions. You can use its analysis to inform your next step, then complete that work through the appropriate platform workflow.
